Early Childhood
Development
Centre

We are focused on enhancing Early Childhood Development (ECD) for the children of market vendors in Ggaba and Nateete markets. We have established ECD centers that provide a safe and nurturing environment for children while their parents’ work. These centers focus on the development of children offering activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth. We also train caregivers primarily women vendors on best practices in child care including nutrition and developmental milestones, ensuring the children receive quality care and early education. We conduct regular monitoring to assess the effectiveness of the ECD centers and continuously adapts to meet the children’s evolving needs.
